Spend some time viewing and learning about this ancient place and its wonderful scenery and how people, old and modern, have adapted to living within it. You will travel through Mountains, Bushveld, Villages and Towns all within a 500km radius of Cape Town. Customise your duration from 5 days to 15 days.

Bushman Footprints
This is a good place to start as it combines Culture and Nature. We will travel through the Iconic Cederberg and Karoo, areas frequented and lived in by the ancient San Bushman and Pastoral Khoi people, collectively termed ” KhoiSan”. Route 62 - Gardens, Mountains and Sea
There are so many options this way, you might be overwhelmed. FYNBOS (term for Fine, Intricate and highly evolved plant species) is the word that stands out, which is the predominant plant type within this Internationally Recognised, Cape Floral Kingdom. There are more species of plants in this little space than over other vast continents. Not only are the plants unique but the Creatures that live with and from them.
We will visit Mountain Passes, often part of old Ox Wagon Routes created by generations of Explorers, in awe of this place. Route 62, meanders through these formations and where man has learnt to foster everything from Vines to Olives and Ostriches. Experience the Southernmost Tip of Africa at Cape Agulhas and then follow the Coastline, which is green and lush and aptly named, the Garden Route.
Unique ROUTES
Travel BACK in TIME
If you interested in history, culture and nature combined, we have this interesting option for you. What we have put together, through in-depth research, is to trace the early explorations in the Cape, through the eyes of famous Naturalists.
One is French Ornithologist, Francois Le Vaillant , responsible for discovering and describing many South African bird species we know today from 1781. The other, and our favourite explorer, is British William John Burchell. If you are a budding naturalist, you should recognise the latter name as it appears next to many Animal, Bird and Plant species titles, point in case, the Burchell’s (Plains) Zebra. Their journals and maps have been meticulously studied and we will together trace their exact footsteps “into the interior of Southern Africa” to find places, names, plants and creatures, just as they encountered 200 to 300 years ago. Where they took years to undertake these journeys, we will accommodate you from 7 to 15 days.
